Master Hair Stylist

Growing up in Tokyo, I was immersed in a world where edgy fashion, refined tradition, and the changing seasons naturally coexisted. This early exposure shaped my aesthetic sensibility and continues to influence my approach to hair today.

I trained at the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco, where I received extensive cutting education rooted in Vidal Sassoon’s ABC cutting methodology at Cinta Salon. My career later led me to work at Vidal Sassoon as a color specialist, followed by advanced training in both cutting and color at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. These experiences allowed me to train alongside some of the most respected professionals in the industry, forming the foundation of my precision, technique, and design philosophy.

I believe that beautiful hair begins with integrity. Coloring hair without compromising its health is one of the most essential elements of my work. I am especially drawn to dramatic hand-painted techniques such as balayage, as well as natural, dimensional highlights that enhance movement, shine, and individuality.

In addition to my work in hair, I hold a law degree from Japan and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Arts from the United States. This unique background has shaped my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and appreciation for both structure and creativity.

I exclusively use Mizutani Scissors for all haircuts. Handcrafted in Japan by master artisans who have refined their techniques over generations, these scissors represent the highest level of craftsmanship. Using exceptional tools is an essential part of achieving precise, refined results.
